Un capolavoro! Non l'avevo mai letto per paura di restare deluso, ma è stata una lettura bellissima e appassionante. C'è un pò di tutto: horror, fantasy e molta avventura. Il meglio di King è nei continui salti temporali tra i due periodi di Derry (anni 50 e 80), descritti meravigliosamente nelle loro miserie e piccolezze, mentre il cuore del libro è incentrato sulle paure dei bambini, paure vere molto diverse, che però danno forza a tutti loro.

An okay book, which definitely shows King's leanings on politics & society -- which is funny when you consider some of the casual sexism throughout the plot. Most importantly, did we really need a prepubescent sewer orgy scene?
