Letto al liceo. Bellissimo, nonostante la lettura "obbligata" non faccia mai piacere. Molto crudo, inquietante, diretto, cupo. L'istinto di sopravvivenza dell'uomo che trasforma i bambini naufragati sull'isola da "civili" allo stato brado.
Scritto nel 1952 ma ancora attualissimo. Consigliato.
