Good, but not great. Varoufakis did not manage to convince me of the central thesis of this book (that caputalism is dead and something qualitatively different, which he terms technofeudalism, has taken its place), but in failing to do that he raised a number of interesting and often extremely valid points in much more accessible and even entertaining terms than Sadowski in The Mechanic and the Luddite (the other political economy book I tried and struggled to read this year). I'd probably love him as a teacher or colleague. He writes like someone who's great in conversation.
