Earth is dust, humans are looking for new planets to settle. Generation ships travelling for thousands of years, genetically engineered spiders, failed terraformed planets, first contact, a look into an alien society evolving through the years. Even though there are wars and the classic conflicts for power, I liked the optimistic ending.
E se su un pianeta i ragni diventassero la specie dominante, dotati di elevata intelligenza e tecnologia?
Cosa succederebbe se sul quel pianeta dovesse arrivare quel che resta dell'umanità?
Un'epopea lunga alcuni millenni, una storia molto interessante anche se in qualche punto è stata un pò soporifera. In definitiva un'ottima lettura, attendo che sia pubblicato in italiano il secondo libro.
Non consigliato agli aracnofobici.
