This Jane Hawk saga rocks - even if not every scene is great at the same level. I was very curious about this book - since it gets on from the complex ending situation of The Crooked Staircase - and I was not disappointed by the level of action and suspense I found here BUT I didn't like too much one of the new villains nor I think I've loved too much some of the several (minor) detailed twists in the plot. Anyway the overall is page turning, Jane is even more bad-ass and lovable and Texans posses are as vivid and realistic as I can image.
Eager to start the fifth and last part of this series.
