Although Scott Carey doesn't look any different, he's been steadily losing weight. There are a couple of other odd things, too. Short. But it's the only thing I can complain about. Yes, after finishing it I've also read a lot of very bad reviews, and some of them point out some specific elements one can argue with.
But for me, Elevation is just a great book. Odd and poetic at the same time. With characters, I loved at first sight, and with scenes, I will surely remember for a long time.
