I received an ARC copy of this GN in exchange for an honest review.

I literally loved the drawing style, the use of colors and in general the visual impact that this GN gave me.
The story is very simple but important: a criticism of today's consumer society and the repercussions of the damage we are doing to our planet. In a future where social inequality and the mistakes of the past continue to destroy human society, what chance does our planet have of surviving man?

Really very beautiful and highly recommended!

In this sci-fi adventure, a group of Native Americans, from a dystopian future, find a system that allows time travel. However, the cost required for this mission is expensive.
The group organizes a journey through time for one of them with the mission of killing Christopher Columbus before he discovers the Americas so as to guarantee their people independent development and, perhaps, thus save the human race from the cataclysms that have decimated it.

The story is very fascinating, full of metaphors and innuendos, fascinating.

What I didn't like is the link between the motive and the mission: I don't understand why stopping Columbus would have prevented the end of the world. However, the dynamics of time travel have been respected and in an original and imaginative form.

Too bad about the ending, I would have expected …

This type of story isn't really my cup of tea, but I still wanted to try to read something that could make me forget about life's problems for a little bit and I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that I read this graphic novel all over again. one breath.
A sweet treat to read on a day when you feel like you need it.

I adored the two protagonists and I'm fond of their story.

I recommend it to lovers of the genre who want to enjoy a modern fairy tale full of romance.

I would like to thank Netgallery for sending me the ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Set in the United States in the midst of satanic panic, the life of a group of queer misfits is inadvertently intertwined with a murder investigation conducted by the sheriff and a strange government agent. Given the cruelty and rituality of the discovery of the body, a curfew is triggered throughout the city and the boys can do nothing but disobey the provisions of the authorities. The group's everyday life runs parallel to that of the investigations until the paths meet and the mess breaks out. Is there really something demonic that is terrorizing the citizens or is it all the result of people's paranoia? Who will side with the "weirdos" against the prejudices and accusing looks of the community?

Very topical, funny, macabre, this story is truly one of …

Fun, colourful, exciting and real.
The story of four very different friends who decide to celebrate Halloween by venturing into a cemetery at night. Here fate will lead them to awaken a dangerous wooden Automaton that will take them to an alternative world populated by bizarre, magical creatures born from the author's fervent imagination and beautifully represented by the colors of an illustrator and designer.
The story reminded me a bit of Alice in Wonderland, a bit of the Wizard of Oz, a sort of growth and affirmation story that leads the protagonists to confront themselves, with their weaknesses and insecurities.

Really nice, 100% recommended

I'm honest, the only flaw was the ending.
It wraps up very quickly and left a bad taste in my mouth. Not being able to do spoilers I can't say why, however this …

Ringrazio tutti i meravigliosi artisti …

Gender Is Really Strange by Teddy G. Goetz is an entertaining and informative book that helps readers understand gender in a new and inspiring way. Goetz uses simple language and engaging writing and illustrations to explain the complex concepts of gender, sexuality and gender identity. The book is full of humorous examples and stories of real people who defied gender norms.

One of the best aspects of the book is that Goetz does more than just provide theoretical definitions and explanations. The book is also full of practical advice on how to deal with gender-related challenges in daily life. Goetz offers tips on how to talk about gender with your children, how to deal with gender discrimination, and how to live an authentic and joyful life.

A bit unnerving and well structured.
The story is lacking in originality and predictable, but the way it is written is great!

It's the story of a man that leave a message and the friend of him tells the story which brought the man committing suicide.
It all started when they were teenager and downloaded a disgusting and fearsome video thinking of downloading porn.
The video bring a curse: apparently everyone that watch it, will die committing suicide forced by an evil creature that start to haunt them.
Remember something?

I'm not into neither romance nor youngadult, but the LGBTIQ+ factor and the SciFi genre does fit to me.

I loved this book from the begginning to the end.
It made me emotional sometimes and I found the story well constructed and written.
The only thing I didn't like is that something was a bit confusing.
I don't want to spoil anything but I found the ending forced and perhaps not necessary.

Anyway, I loved this book and I'll carry it in my heart
