Un tragico avvenimento porta due famiglie a confrontarsi con perdita, lutto, valori, tradizioni, relazioni famigliari con un'intensità di carattere epico. I protagonisti sono nativi americani e questo ha un enorme peso nel romanzo, a livello di trama e di "voce" della scrittura. Quando lo finisci pensi "Madò, che storia ho letto". Raramente puoi avere di più da un romanzo.
