La verdad es que leyéndolo con 37 años la historia no me sorprendió, me aburrió bastante. Quizá leyéndolo más joven... Eso no quita que leyéndolo/escuchándolo en su momento tuviera que ser mucho más interesante.
Un libro che anticipa tanti temi cardine della fantascienza, unito a molti elementi scientifici allo stato dell'arte per l'epoca in cui fu scritto. E in quell'epoca non c'erano ancora gli aerei! Il racconto è una specie di diario scritto a posteriori dal protagonista, con descrizioni molto dettagliate che a volte rallentano un pò la storia, ma nel complesso è bello, considerando anche gli anni che porta. Particolare il fatto che la razza umana sia considerata complessivamente inferiore agli invasori e che si salvi in maniera rocambolesca per un fatto non previsto dagli alieni. La fine è forse la parte più deludente, perchè il tutto si spegne improvvisamente, troppo velocemente.
