Moving Pictures is a fantasy novel by British writer Terry Pratchett, published in 1990, the tenth book in his Discworld series. The book takes place in Discworld's most famous city, Ankh-Morpork and a hill called "Holy Wood". This one starts off a bit slower than other Discworld novels, but as soon as it starts picking up speed, it never backs down.
Pratchett is as original and as funny as ever in this adventure that's noticeably closer to our world than previous novels.
Not my favorite Discworld book, but like all of them, worth the read to see the history and worldbuilding and an excellent commentary on fame.
