È il libro di Grisham che, insieme a "L'avvocato di strada", mi è piaciuto di più, soprattutto per il ritmo della narrazione. Poi, mi ha lasciato una bella illusione: quella che il mestiere del giornalista possa ancora essere quello del cane da guardia che controlla i potenti e impedisce loro di compiere soprusi e ingiustizie. Un'illusione, appunto.
